There are two main entrances to the Alcázar of Seville:

  • Puerta del Leon (Lion’s Gate): This is the main entrance to the Alcázar and is located on the eastern side of the palace complex. It gets its name from the lion sculpted atop the main archway. 
  • Puerta Alcoba: The Alcoba Gate is the secondary entrance, situated on the western side of the Alcázar, opposite the Lion's Gate. The Alcoba Gate is primarily opened during special events like concerts.
